Hey everyone, here's the scoop on the current real estate market: Sellers are cutting prices at a crazy pace to keep up with the slowing demand.
According to Redfin, it's the highest rate of price drops since November 2022. Sellers are slashing prices left and right—6.4 percent of listings had a price reduction in May, which led to the median asking price dropping by $3,000 to $416K.
With mortgage rates still high and home prices not budging, sellers are making these cuts to attract buyers.

The average sold price YTD is $443,734 and the median sold price YTD is $395,000.
