Keenan Coit, Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties

There are currently 191 active residential listings in Mesa County which is up slightly compared to last week. The average list price of those active homes is $589,0000 which is $9,000 higher than last week.
The National Association of Realtors report that existing home sales rose 6.5% in January marking a hot start to the year after sales dipped slightly in December. The inventory of homes fell to a new low of 860,000.
The weekly new listing inventory continues to be almost double each week from January. While, active inventory is still low, the increase in weekly inventory will hopefully push us towards a more stable amount of active listings in the valley, but that won't happen anytime soon.
